Vectra Bank Colorado is seeking a highly motivatedCommunity Banking Sales Leader to join our Community Bank team in Pueblo, CO. We are looking for someone who is proactive and successful achieving department initiatives.As the Community Banking Sales Leader, you will interact and become involved with community leaders in and around the Pueblo area in addition to the responsibilities listed below.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Sales Leader leads a team with responsibilities including the management, solicitation, and development of all types of lending, retail banking, and sales and service activities within the specified area.
  • Responsible for participating in and directing the team's activities necessary to attract and retain new business, as well as retain existing clients.
  • Contributes to sales initiatives.
  • Develops and implements programs and processes for business development, sales promotion and expanding the sales and service culture of the bank within assigned area.
  • Assists in setting goals for branches including budgets and production goals
  • Ensures budgets are met and focuses on revenue generation, branch growth in loans and deposits and expense control
  • Responsible for community development, engagement, participation, and relations
  • Partners closely with other lines of business to support client needs
  • Promotes a strong community culture
  • Monitors and evaluates production
  • Revises or creates procedures to improve efficiency of region
  • Leads employee development and coaching to ensure employees meet their full potential and reach their goals
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • 4+ years in the banking industry, branch management, commercial and consumer lending or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements
  • Management experience required
  • Motivational, budgeting and project management experience preferred
  • Requires advanced knowledge of banking, lending, credit policies, revenue generation, cost control, banking products, services, regulations, policies and procedures
  • Strong management, judgment, community development and public relations skills required
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to resolve problems and manage budgets

Salary Range (based on job experience): $95,000 - $120,000 plus, annual discretionary incentive plan
