Zion's Wealth Management group is a specialized division within the bank that offers comprehensive financial services to affluent, high-net-worth individuals, families, and businesses. These services often include personalized investment strategies, financial planning, estate and tax planning, succession planning, and risk management. The primary goal of a wealth management group is to help clients grow and preserve their wealth while providing expert guidance to navigate complex financial situations and achieve their long-term financial objectives. Zion's Wealth Management is a strategic focus for the Zions Bancorporation, an organization that expands across eight affiliate banks in the Western United States.

We are currently in search of a dedicated Wealth Planner to join our team of bank partners in Salt Lake City or Houston.

We want to talk to you!

  • Perform a wide range of planning, education and analysis duties for both existing and prospective clients.
  • Responsibilities include:
    • retirement modeling,
    • risk management/insurance analysis,
    • educational modeling,
    • estate plan review and recommendations
    • tax review and recommendations
    • wealth plan creation
    • providing wealth recommendations that align with client goals.
  • Responsible for plan creation and delivery to Wealth Management clients and accountable for client satisfaction and retention.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Expert knowledge as a specialist of financial analysis, tax, business succession, estate planning and wealth transfer planning practices and techniques.
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree
  • 2-4 + years financial planning experience, legal, tax or other directly related experience. CFP, CPA, JD, MBA preferred.
  • A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.

Located in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City, the Zions Bank Building serves as the headquarters of both Zions Bancorporation and Zions Bank.
