We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to join us in Las Vegas, NV. This role manages a team of HR employees to effectively administer and coordinate HR programs with client groups. This role is fully in-office with some local and state travel.

Essential Functions:

  • Manages a team of HR employees to effectively administer and coordinate HR programs with client groups.

  • Implements the organization's human resource strategy so that the organization attracts, manages, develops and retains the employees it needs to achieve its current and future business objectives.

  • Manages HR programs to ensure the organization's current and future HR requirements are met.

  • Partners with other areas of HR as needed to provide world class service to client groups.

  • Coaches and assists managers in resolving employee relations issues.

  • Remains current on HR and other employment related laws, policies, procedures, and regulations.

  • Leads, directs, evaluates and develops a team of HR Professionals to ensure the HR strategy is implemented effectively.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, management or a related field and 5+ years of Human Resource generalist/business partner, employee relations, employee retention, human resource processes and procedures, unemployment, workers compensation, FMLA, local, state and federal laws or other directly related experience, management experience required. A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.

  • Requires advanced knowledge of human resources, employment law, human relations, policy and procedure administration.

  • Requires excellent management, customer relations, diplomacy and team building skills.

  • Ability to motivate staff, delegate, meet and set departmental goals.

  • Motivational, budgeting and project management experience preferred.

  • Ability to multi-task across multiple Human Resource disciplines.

  • Able to adapt to changing priorities.

  • Excellent presentation, conflict resolution, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Excellent customer service, influence and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity and creativity to changing needs and situations.

  • Ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people.

  • Ability to work with highly confidential information daily.

  • Possesses excellent initiative, follow-up, feedback and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to champion HR programs despite resistance.

  • Strong MS Office and HRIS skills required.

  • Ability to work with a variety of management and staff.

Pay range (depending on experience): $100k - $130k/annual salary
