We are looking for a highly motivated and driven Senior Manager of Accounting to find success in a finance role. The manager will have the ability to think creatively to maximize opportunities for the finance development. They must be able to understand and manage different processes while managing different projects.


What you will be doing:

Monthly Financial Close Process:

  • Oversee the monthly financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate recording of all costs incurred.
  • Review and prepare journal entries, reconcile account balances, and prepare financial reports to support the organization's financial statements.

Accounting Policies and Procedures:

  • Participate in the ongoing development and establishment of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Review and implement process and system changes to enhance efficiency.

Internal Audit and Compliance:

  • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results.
  • Maintain compliance with internal control policies in a SOX environment.

Financial Reporting:

  • Produce timely, efficient, and accurate month-end close reports for internal management and financial reporting.
  • Interact with budget owners and stakeholders to facilitate the reporting process.

Technical Accounting:

  • Analyze the effect of statutory accounting practices and stay informed about regulations and guidance.
  • Ensure correct application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Make recommendations for changes as needed.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Understanding of US GAAP, and knowledge of key accounting guidelines
  • Experience leading transformative projects to drive efficiencies and improvements
  • Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end processes, coupled with adept project management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships internally and externally
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • Minimum five years of experience in accounting related functions
  • Big 4 audit firm experience required
  • Microsoft Excel (mid-high profile)
  • ERP systems ability
  • MS Office
  • TM1
  • Oracle SaaS

The pay range for this position is between $120,000-$150,000annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills,experienceand location.Additionally, a full range of medical and/or other benefits may be provided, depending on the position offered.
