Northwestern University is seeking a temporary Part-time Events Assistant (Hybrid) for the Chicago campus.

Temporary Job Description:

The School of Professional Studies - Student and Alumni Services department is looking for a Temporary Events Assistant to aid with administrative tasks related to department events. Responsibilities include record keeping, communications, staffing events, and other duties as assigned. Limited evening and weekend support, primarily in-person at Chicago offices and some hybrid work (specifics discussed upon hire).

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Event planning/execution experience
• Detail oriented
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds

Software Required:

MS Office and online-based programs such as Eventbrite and Guidebook
