The opportunity

Michelin has an immediate opening for a Full Stack Architect to be responsible for the Technical and Functional Architecture across the Order to Cash Business Processes in a B2B and B2B2C context. This role's purpose is to improve efficiency and enhance the quality of work life by reducing manual efforts to input, analyze and report on data, thus freeing up people's time for more valuable and fulfilling work.

What you will do

Work as part of a Lean and Agile Team to lead Architecture topics to increase business value while ensuring business continuity by following industry best practices and application of appropriate integration and architectural patterns.

Architect, design and evaluate business requirements, security measures and legal requirements to create and/or enhance a solution and provide guidance to Software Engineers.

Ensure the availability, the performance, and the security level of applications by ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions and providing Level 3 Support.

Assess business orientations and align to existing and/or future systems.

Perform feasibility studies to validate proposed solutions against the expected requirements, cost, and timelines, and provide risk mitigation ideas to the project leader as needed.

Use an incremental approach (Do & Learn) during design and development to manage the lead time and deliver incremental functionalities quickly.

Participate in a Global Network of Architects for sharing of ideas and collaborate on Domain Road Maps.

What you will bring

BS in Computer Science / Information Systems /related field or equivalent experience.

Prior experience in architecting Information Systems (IS) in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

  • 10 years work experience in Application and Integration Architecture across varying technologies is a plus.

A proven ability to work with others to gather requirements and incorporate them into existing Architecture Topologies.

Demonstrated daily Lean & Agile values like cooperation, transparency, courage, and humility to foster teamwork.

Experience in the following technologies is preferred:

  • Programming Languages: Java, or another Object-Oriented based language.
  • Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, IDMS, DB2
  • Integration: CFT, FTP, OBJEX, MQ, DataStage, IBM App Connect Enterprise, APIGEE
