Job Description

Parametrix is seeking a CADD/TECH professional to join our Oregon/Idaho team and be based out of Bend. This position will support CAD drafting and design for site civil and transportation projects. An interest in programming, generative AI and other ways to streamline or automate processes is a beneficial skillset. We are looking for a candidate that is passionate about collaborating with interior clients as well as providing excellent service to our external clients. Who you are:

Dedicated: Associate/Technical degree and 1+ years of experience appreciated but some working experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or other 3D drafting skills. Civil engineering focused desired but not required. The tasks involve preparing and supporting moderately complex multidisciplinary projects related to civil, transportation, and utilities. Having the aptitude to understand CAD design and a willingness to advance your skills is important. The wiliness to learn in an active work environment is essential.

Tech Savvy: You have exposure to and enjoy applying your AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation/ (OpenRoads or InRoads) skills. You enjoy the challenge to innovate and be part of a highly collaborative team.

Excel at Communication: Demonstrated ability to clearly express ideas and convey information in verbal and written form and previous experience developing and writing documents. Have some passion in communicating your ideas while finding ways to work with the team.

Love Details: You can't wait to support preparation of plans and develop detailed design documents. You can work in accordance with established CAD standards and procedures. You want to assist in the development of new technologies, like generative AI, to increase production for the team while maintaining good quality control.

Relationship-focused: Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative approach, and team mentality. We are seeking highly motivated candidates with the ability to work collaboratively internally and externally.

Hourly rate for this position is in the range of $24-$29. Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, location, and role. For all positions we conduct an equity review. Employee-owners are all eligible for performance-based bonuses based on key contributions. Salaries are reviewed at least once annually as part of our compensation program. We are transparent in our salary discussions and look forward to sharing more about our compensation structure and the value of being an employee-owner.
