Job Description
POSITION SUMMARYThe Supply Chain Analyst is a role that intersects data and supply chain activities and supports the Product Management business unit in making data driven decisions. Working closely with business unit managers and team members, the analyst will lead projects to develop, implement and maintain technical tools and reporting solutions to solve problems and improve current systems and processes. The analyst will perform ad-hoc data analysis in multiple areas of the business: Category/Product Management, Inventory Management, Pricing, Marketing, Sales, Market Competition, etc.

This position is located on-site in Appleton, WI.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Query relational databases using SQL to develop PowerBI reports and tools to be used in supply chain projects and processes
  • Maintain PowerBI tools and reports, including resolving issues and developing enhancements as the business needs change
  • Document the purpose, development and maintenance of all tools and reports
  • Partner with the supply chain operational areas to identify opportunities to utilize data analytics to improve business processes and business results
  • Facilitates and leads teams on the successful execution and implementation of strategic projects
  • Perform complex data analysis combining business knowledge with in-depth knowledge of data and advanced reporting tools
  • Serve as business unit's liaison to the IT department on PowerBI enhancements and/or address issues and defects that impact system data, workflow and/or functionality of PowerBI tools and reports and future BI needs
  • Data maintenance and project work as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
  • BS/BA degree (Supply Chain or Related Business Field)
  • Essential skills needed to develop new solutions and align existing tools with changes in the business: project management, facilitation, advanced analytical skills, problem-solving, negotiation and relationship-building
  • Proficient with PowerBI or similar data visualization tool in a professional/work setting.
  • Prior experience working in a supply chain or logistics field preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SQL, Microsoft Access
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Resourceful self-starter who can work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to clearly communicate data insights in a manner which is easily understood by general business users
  • Ability to build rapport, cultivate working relationships and drive collaboration across teams
  • Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement in a dynamic environment, striving to exceed expectations\
