The Role:

Currently, we are seeking to hire a Manager, Sourcing - Electronics who will be responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships with best-in-class suppliers and internal stakeholders. This role will be responsible for developing and executing Sourcing strategies, while supporting and enabling our product innovation pipeline.

This position is remote and will report into Lovesac Corporate HUB based in Stamford, CT. Candidates must fully reside in the United States at all times during employment and should have the ability to travel as needed.

Summary of Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and drive the material sourcing, production, and quality control procedures for product development activities, while partnering cross-functionally to execute to brand strategies and financial targets.
  • Manage vendor communication, sample development and pre-production deliverables for respective product categories.
  • Develop and execute Sourcing strategies that drive best unit economics, while maintaining product quality and timeline.
  • Continuously manage risk through stakeholder education on viable end-to-end sourcing and production timelines.
  • Travel domestically and internationally, to support product placement and cost negotiations.
  • Identify, vet and develop best-in-class electronics suppliers to support our product innovation pipeline.
  • Responsible for monitoring supplier performance and leading QBR's with suppliers to review scorecards.
  • Responsible to meet or exceed all goals and key performance indicators KPI's, with a strong focus on leveraging spend and COG unit reductions.
  • Maintain a calm demeanor and manage issues professionally and respectfully in accordance with our company standards.

  • Perform any other duties as requested by management.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in Business, other quantitative discipline or equivalent working experience
  • 5+ years' experience in the commodity management, strategic sourcing and/or or supply chain disciplines, with a specific focus in Electronics, parts and components.
  • People management experience is preferred, however not a requirement.
  • Maintains the highest level of customer service, creating solutions and experiences that drive business results and engagement with the brand.
  • Must have superior communication skills; verbal, written and interpersonal skills; able to listen effectively to solve problems, anticipate issues and make effective decisions.
  • Working proficiency in Mandarin is a plus, however not a requirement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple design, engineering and product development partners.
  • Uses technology to facilitate better results and support productivity.
  • Must have proven time management skills and quickly adapts to a changing business environment.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be results driven and utilize experience to meet or exceed KPIs and goals.
  • Must work collaboratively with fellow employees, treating all clients, both internal and external with dignity and respect at all times.
  • Proficiency required in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Experience working within PLM systems preferred.
  • Must comply with the standards, policies and procedures outlined in the Lovesac Employee Handbook.
  • Must be capable of using and operating all equipment as required, including but not limited to: iPad, laptop, etc. Be able to move objects (including medium to large furniture items up to 75 pounds) from a lower to a higher position or horizontally from position-to-position or be able to assemble furniture while working on the selling floor or in our warehouse.
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, for occasional meetings and conferences using various forms of transportation.
  • Consistent ability to work both remotely and report into HUB 2 Headquarters or designated retail touchpoint, as required and in accordance with Lovesac policies, CDC and State Guidelines.
