Job Summary

The Billing Operations Analyst will be reporting to the Director of Revenue Assurance and will be responsible for ongoing billing operations optimization and financial reconciliation support.

The Billing Operation Analyst position is available for an ambitious and driven individual who is interested in providing hands on reconciliations and optimization support across multiple functions on billing team.

The right candidate will possess excellent analytical and decision-making skills. The Billing Operation Analyst will experience a sense of teamwork by partnering with multiple departments to provide internal and external customers with exceptional support on billing related requests.This billing team member acts as an expert resource to sales, consultants, operational and provisioning teams on all A to Z process steps related to E-rate customers.

Responsibilities
  • Auditdata between billing, operational and provisional systems, identifying variances and assisting director of revenue assurance on any ongoing projects.
  • Data reconciliation and data integrity management of existing customer accounts across multiple operational systems.
  • Billing Inbox enquiries ownership and maintenance.
  • Go Green process ownership and management.
  • Extensive A to Z support of all related to Erate process activities (sales, consultant agencies and billing team support).
  • Monthly reconciliation for All Erate accounts including Discount calculation by service and templates generation for Invoices uploads.
  • 470 and 471 form approvals verification and tracking.
  • 474 form fillings and funding reconciliations.
  • Lead and drive Erate process automation and improvement.
  • SOX monthly audit controls and auditors support.
  • Payment reconciliations/late fee analysis.
  • Tax analysis and reconciliation (on demand).
  • Purchase orders review and sign.
  • USF form distribution and automation.
  • Refunds managements and credit research.
  • Invoice proforma validations.
  • Understand policies, procedures, and practices surrounding orders and invoicing in telecom industry.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) with major course work in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • Exceptional Excel and Data management skills.
  • Strong financial & analytical skills: ability to define problems, collect data, identify variances and outliers, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Aptitude and desire to be a part of high dynamic fast path grown environment.
  • Ability to adapt to change quickly, as well as manage a high-volume workload efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work extended hours (some evenings and weekends, when necessary) and achieve results in a deadline driven environment.
  • Extreme attention to detail and a passion for data.
  • High energy self-motivator with a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task.
  • Strong sense of teamwork and mentoring highly desired, with a drive for learning and growth.

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in Colorado. The pay range at the time of posting in the specified locations is $65,000 - $75,000/year. Pay ranges are supplied in compliance with Colorado law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience.
