About This Role:

Interdisciplinary Programs and the Office of Engagement is actively seeking an Interdisciplinary Program Engagement Coordinator. In this role, the incumbent would be responsible for event planning and logistical support, travel management, program support such as the development of presentation materials and assisting with special projects, as well as overall administrative support.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Handling day-to-day coordination of events and programs including working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Developing marketing materials and social media campaigns to advertise and inform interested parties of programs and events.
  • Coordinating in-state and out-of-state travel including searching flights, booking hotels, submitting travel requests, and managing submission of receipts and reimbursements.
  • Assisting in the preparation of materials, presentations, and reports for various program activities.
  • Serving as a point of contact for Interdisciplinary Programs, providing requested information and directs inquiries appropriately.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree. This position may use an educational equivalency as determined relevant by a hiring manager.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and communication tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Previous experience in project coordination, customer service, or administrative roles is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, exhibiting a proactive approach to identifying and implementing solutions.

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range:

$25.96 - $30.84 hourly ($54,000 - $64,140 annually)
