Job Description

100% FTE, Monday - Friday with one day working remote, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will be working at University Station Clinic in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:

  • Educate patients, prepare and review charts for upcoming ophthalmic surgeries.
  • Assist with surgery scheduling and conducting patient interviews for upcoming procedures being performed at University Hospital and American Family Children's Hospital.
  • Perform general RN Clinic work, telephone triage and in-basket responsibilities
  • Infuse IV medications for ophthalmic testing.

Education:

Minimum - Graduate of school of nursing.

Preferred - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Work Experience:

Minimum - Six (6) months of RN experience.

Preferred - Relevant RN experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact. CPR/BLS Certification.

Preferred - Applicable clinical certification.
