Senior Data and Strategy Analyst

What we're seeking:
You perform quantitative and qualitative analysis with structured and unstructured data sets to identify opportunities and weaknesses in the business. You are responsible for directly sourcing data using languages and tools such as SQL, Python, Alteryx, Excel, and Salesforce, and analyzing that data in ways that support practical decision-making and strategy setting. You expertly communicate your findings and recommend strategies to executives and business partners. Additionally, you lead data projects and guide other analysts on the team on best practices.In this in-person role, you will be required to report to 1919 McKinney Ave, Dallas, TX to complete your work responsibilities.

You excel at mining and using data and analytical tools to tell stories that can be used to set business strategies and make decisions. You are an effective communicator, especially adept at conveying complex data in a clear and simple manner. You are a motivated, self-starter who takes initiative to move projects forward and identify new projects to take on. You manage your time effectively to deliver analyses and strategy recommendations in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do:
  • Provide analytical support to optimize subscriber counts, operational processes and costs, and revenue
  • Lead key customer experience & fiber expansion initiatives using quantitative and qualitative data and analytics
  • Manipulate large data sets, navigating a variety of servers, data types and data structures
  • Drive end to end analytical process, from formulation of requirements, data acquisition, analysis, validation, and summarization of relevant results

  • Salary Range: $73,000 to $145,000

What background you should have:
  • Bachelor's degree in in Information Technology, Mathematics, and/or Statistics or equivalent experience required. Advanced degree (MS, MBA) in a business or analytical field OR relevant work experience, with a focus on financial, sales, and marketing analytics preferred
  • 5+ years data and business analytics experience
  • Outstanding communications skills, both written and verbal. Experience communicating with all levels of the organization
  • Detail oriented with a commitment to analysis deliverables that are comprehensive, accurate, insightful, and timely
  • Advanced Python, SQL, and Machine Learning experience
  • Advanced Data Visualization skills, preferably with Power BI
  • Experience with statistical modeling and analysis (regression, clustering, ensemble methods)
  • Experience with Databricks on AWS
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Salesforce Report and Dashboard development, data sourcing, and Einstein
  • Ability to solve complex problems creatively, work with minimal supervision, function in a dynamic work environment, and meet aggressive deadlines
