YOU

As an Accounts Receivable Coordinator you will be responsible for maintaining positive and productive relationships with other team members and customers to research and resolve discrepancies related to customer invoices

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING(% of Time)

Research and resolve variances in customer invoices. Communicate with customers via email, web or phone. (80%)

Log entries in the Customer Service Exception Report (CSER), review billing inquiries, tax certificates, and other duties as assigned. (10%)

Constant maintenance of aging reports to ensure customer accounts are up-to-date. (10%)

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 1 year related experience or training in Accounts Receivable, Inside Sales, or Customer Service required.
  • Customer Focus: Quickly and effectively solve customer problems and maintain productive relationships. Readily readjust priorities to respond to urgent and changing customer needs. Recognize potentially adverse customer reactions and develop better alternatives.
  • Teamwork: Maintain a collaborative approach in dealing with other Simpson Strong-Tie employees. Demonstrate a genuine commitment to reach mutually beneficial solutions
  • Self-Management: Set priorities, goals and timelines to achieve maximum productivity. Manage multiple projects and competing priorities. Display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely manner.
  • Attention to Detail: Monitor and review work for accuracy and completeness. Complete work according to procedures and standards. Maintain an organized workspace and filing system. Understand verbal instructions.
  • Speaking and Communication: Communicate verbally in an appropriate way for the audience they are speaking to. Listen with full attention to what other people are saying, making sure to understand the needs being expressed, asking questions as appropriate without interrupting at an inappropriate time.
  • Mathematical Reasoning: Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Accountability and Dependability: Arrive to work on time and follow instructions, policies, and procedures. Fulfill commitments made to customers, peers, co-workers, and manager. Hold self and others accountable for measureable, high-quality, timely, and cost-effective results.

This job operates in a professional office environment where standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers/scanners, etc. are frequently used.

This job does not require travel.

WORK STATUS & LOCATION

This full-time, non-exempt position is located in Columbus, OH.

PAY

$22.31 - $27.88 / hour
