At this time, SCI is recruiting highly qualified candidates whose background and career goals meet our needs for the following position in Huntsville, AL. Please note that due to Department of Defense contract requirements, U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED.

General: Provide leadership to the organization consisting of purchasing, planning andwarehouse management.

  • Be hands on leader and manage all aspects of KPIs which impact inventory assets
  • Understand the available tools and make sure your people are trained and use them
  • Collaborate with corporate and divisional initiatives and projects (new tools)
  • Collaborations with cross-functional teams, involvement with plant CFT as necessary
  • Enablement of plant's revenue and financial goal
  • Responsible for training, managing and controlling and performance of the following
  • functions;

Purchasing

  • Monitor below parameters as they impact inventory turns of the plant;
  • Execution of MRP executions
  • Receiving Discrepancies
  • MRB/RTV Disposition
  • Agility Turns
  • Item Attributes review: Safety Stock, MOQ, L/T, FLM etc

Inventory

  • Manage and oversee inventory controls to meet or exceed corporate guidelinesinventory turns
  • Audit and guide cycle count procedures which meet or exceed corporatepolicies and procedures
  • Monitor Physical Inventories as needed

Reporting

Provide Reporting for the following;

  • E&O Resolution
  • Inventory Offset
  • MDS Plant Weekly review
  • IO Report

MDS Gap Management:

  • Review and monitor MDS gap by plant and by customer
  • Achieve desired MDS gap goals
  • Training
  • Provide management and control of training of all functions as required withinresponsibilities ie: corporate QAP, QAF, QAR, plant SOPs, and Performance
  • Excellence, Ethics, etc.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • In partnership with the plant managers in achieving plant goals
  • Aid in the securing of new customer accounts and growth of the business
  • Provide and present supply chain solutions
  • Assist in planning for current and future business
  • Understand all functions of the business to assist in the cross functionalmanagement of the business
  • Collaborate with all functions of the business to establish a cross functionalteam to successfully manage the business
  • Establish an environment which supports continuous improvement, iscooperative, collaborative and fosters employee development and growth
