Overview

Pay range for this position is $42.95 - $61.82/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Program Manager Nursing Quality & Excellence is responsible to advance organizational nursing priorities aligned with the nursing strategy and clinical excellence plan by supporting clinically focused ministry wide nursing improvement endeavors. In partnership with, and utilizing influence with broad scope of stakeholders, the position is responsible to develop, implement, maintain, and evaluate sustainable improvements to ensure OSF practices evidence-based care with high reliability, achieves nursing excellence, transforms healthcare by testing new ways to deliver value-based care, and solves the challenging problems in healthcare through new innovations..


Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related field
  • Experience: 3 years' experience in healthcare performance improvement, project management or other advanced position
  • Licensure/Certifications: Current state license as a registered nurse required.
  • Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
  • Demonstrate leadership competencies, as well as clinical experience, performance improvement skills, the ability to facilitate groups with many different stakeholders and coordinate complex ministry wide projects.
  • Ability to grasp abstract concepts, think creatively, and design new and original systems and programs
  • Proven ability to promote teamwork, build effective working relationships and lead teams and workgroups.
  • High level of problem solving and analytical skills including the ability to manage, interpret and present data
  • Must be self-motivated. Given appropriate direction for goals, must be able to work autonomously in a sometimes ambiguous and changing environment as well as work as a team member or team leader on complex projects.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Master's degree in nursing or healthcare related field
  • Experience: Prior leadership role/experience
