Job Summary

As the Multimedia/Video Intern, you will be responsible for assisting videographers in creating engaging videos for various campus client projects and internal projects. The top candidates will have outstanding attention to detail in all aspects of video production. Applicants need to have prior experience with professional video equipment and editing software. TWO positions available.
Duties Include:
Filming, editing, interviewing, and captioning videos.
Assisting video team with livestreaming.
Assisting multimedia director with filming, lighting, sound, and other aspects of video production as assigned.

Pay Rate

$14/hour

Required Qualifications

Experience with professional video equipment (manual exposure settings, and microphone and audio settings).
Knowledge of editing software (Adobe Creative Cloud preferred).
Experience with shooting high-quality video using a smartphone.
Must be professional, highly motivated, personable, timely, and detail oriented with excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Must be in good standing with both academic and University conduct at the time of application throughout employment.

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of livesteaming software (OBS, Streamlabs, etc.).

Work Hours

A minimum of 12 hours per week. Schedule would be agreed upon by the selected applicant and multimedia director.

Important Information for Applicants

This position is subject to a criminal background investigation and if applicable, an employment history review, based on University Policy 3.1.30 and any offer of employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation and/or an employment history review.
