Responsibilities

Our Facilities Department is seeking a qualified maintenance technician to join our team!

Palo Verde Behavioral Health has a longstanding reputation for stability in mental health and substance use treatment, serving patients in and around Tucson since 1960. We offer individualized inpatient and intensive outpatient treatment programs for adults and adolescents.

The facilities maintenance technician carries out skilled technical duties involving repair, maintenance, replacement, installation for all facility related maintenance needs where able. These duties can include simple carpentry, electrical maintenance, pipefitting, plumbing tasks as well as replacing light bulbs, painting/patchwork, grounds keeping, lubricating and performing simple maintenance on machines and equipment and other general maintenance as required. May include fixing, repairing and performing and troubleshooting on boilers, heat pumps, air-conditioning, chillers and refrigeration units and/or assisting/monitoring other parties while they provide on-site service.

Qualifications

Experience: Preferably one year experience in facilities/plant operations.

Qualifications: Must be 21 years of age and able to obtain/maintain an AZ Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
