With limited supervision coordinates the delivery of health care services by applying sonic energy, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) patients. Establishes and maintains standards of care in Ultrasound sciences. Exercises professional judgment in performance of duties. Assures appropriate patient care management and adjust daily operations to meet the needs of a changing work environment. Involved with staff competencies, schedules, and educational needs.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:
* High School Diploma required; Associates Degree from an OB-GYN Ultrasound program preferred (Certificate or Degree as long as registry eligible).
* Holds current credentials as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
* Nuchal Translucency certification (or obtain within 120 days of hire)
* Basic Life Support and other advanced training as appropriate.
