Multifaceted Sales Associate - Administrative Quoting Agent, who will also oversee material management duties. This role is critical for driving strategic growth by developing innovative quoting strategies and managing procurement and sourcing of materials for our FAA Repair Station.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Quote Development & Management:
    • Implement and manage strategic quoting strategies to enhance profitability and business growth.
    • Tailor quotes based on in-depth analysis of client needs, industry standards, and material costs.
  • Material Management:
    • Oversee facility procurement processes, ensuring materials are sourced efficiently and meet regulatory compliance.
    • Manage inventory levels, supplier relationships, and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms.
    • Work with the technical team to forecast material needs based on upcoming projects and maintenance schedules.
  • Sales & Customer Engagement:
    • Maintain client relationships, gathering insights to inform quote strategy and material requirements.
    • Collaborate with the marketing and sales departments to develop promotional materials and sales tactics.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration:
    • Ensure alignment of quoting strategies with technical capabilities and material availability.
    • Coordinate with finance to monitor cost-effectiveness and alignment with fiscal objectives.
  • Process Optimization & Reporting:
    • Continually assess and optimize quoting and material management processes.
    • Analyze performance metrics and provide reports on quoting outcomes and material procurement efficiencies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven track record in sales, administrative quoting, and material management within the aviation industry.
  • Knowledge of material sourcing for repair and maintenance businesses.
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiating with suppliers and managing inventory.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and/or Microsoft Office Suite.
