Consumer Direct Interaction (CDI)

Our vision is to create outstanding branded experiences that make engaging directly with us the preferred choice. The CDI area consists of four value pools: Direct to Consumer; Peace of Mind (including services and spare parts sales and consumer experience); Consumables & Accessories; and Small Appliances. Globally we have very large growth ambitions for CDI and today this business is largely under-developed in Canada.


POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Position responsible for sales with Best Buy and other e-commerce growth channels selling our aftermarket portfolio to drive profitable growth. Candidate must become a sales expert in the full portfolio consisting of installation products, consumables and accessories, and small domestic appliances. Must be detailed oriented, have a passion for our customers and consumers, and have a growth mindset with a desire to work collaboratively in the major appliance industry.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Win new business with new customer and consumer solutions.
  • Maintain and improve collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment processes.
  • Work collaboratively with product line on new product development, new product introductions, and transitions.
  • Work collaboratively to develop marketing activation plans.
  • Develop and maintain budgets for assigned accounts.
  • Develop new fulfilment processes to enhance portfolio distribution.
  • Manage/Execute pricing strategy for annual product line-ups for Electrolux and Customer profitability.
  • Help collaborate/Create National Account and E-Commerce Strategy for the Customer Direct Interaction business.
  • Collaboratively develop promotional plans to drive new business with customer and internal alignment.
  • Grow attachment and purchase baskets of major appliance shoppers.
  • Track In-Store and Online performance for Assigned channels to meet EMA financial/volume objectives and required performance levels.
  • Lead and prepare with EMA cross functional group any Product Line Reviews associated with your assigned customer channels.
  • Aid in commercialization process for new product launches in coordination with Product Line, Merchandising, Marketing, and Finance


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 3 - 5 years in sales, sales operations, marketing, merchandising or another relevant field.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful project management working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated track record of influencing priorities and motivating cross-functional partners for support.
  • Outstanding oral & written communication skills; strong presentation skills with ability to engage an audience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ecommerce experience a plus
  • Major Appliance industry knowledge
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (written and oral)
  • Solid financial analysis aptitude
  • Good basic knowledge of product development processes, advertising, marketing, and sales
  • Proven competency in MS Office Applications, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Capable of setting priorities, meeting pre-determined deadlines and multi-tasking
  • Ability to collaborate, work and communicate in a high performing team environment.
