Job Description

This role will support the Facility Operations Director in the supervision and management of day-to-day grow, processing, production facility operations and staff for medical-grade cannabis. As directed, responsible for supporting, monitoring, and analyzing current systems and procedures of operations and productions and logistics to ensure effectiveness. Position may act as a liaison between other company departments.

Direct Reports may include Facility Admin, Fulfillment Manager, Lab Manager, Kitchen Manager, Inventory, and local IT Ops Specialist

Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assist the Facility Director with production processes, internal tracking and compliance, order process and inventory management, and enforcing product quality control standards
  • Compile and submit reports as requested and needed
  • Maintain par levels in the vault and plan for managing sell through
  • Train and supervise employees as Needed and required
  • With HR support, help recruit high-performance staff and proactively manage organizational structure
  • Ensure accuracy of seed-to-sale tracking
  • Ensure all operational SOP's are followed as outlined in Holistic Industries Policies and Procedures
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of applicable state and federal cannabis laws
  • Assist with setting and reviewing budgets and managing costs, in coordination with the Facility Operations Director/Manager
  • Support facility-level employee relations, including onboarding, scheduling, and discipline
  • Support internal communications
  • Track and help measure staff performance.
  • Organize relevant and required training sessions as directed
  • Train staff on new products
  • Support system implementation, and ensure the right employees are trained on right systems
  • Calculate and allocate available cannabinoids/high-expense rudiments between products and sales channels
  • Support product allocation for medical and adult use inventories, maintain accurate inventory counts and location validations
  • Interface with vendors and help with vendor contracts directly related to the processing operations and finished goods
  • Support transfer of products from production facility to retail/wholesale accounts
  • Support Sales initiatives as planned and scaled
  • Understand big picture timeline - how Cultivation, Post-Harvest and Processing departments coordinate and affect each other
  • Support facility maintenance as needed
  • Supervise new equipment purchases or repairs and construction projects in production sectors
  • Coordinate with security team to ensure security of the staff, facility and products
  • Support security key fob system, include internal works and assign and control access
  • Enforce the use of PPE as required
  • Ensure that health and safety regulations and state cannabis regulations are met
  • Ensure that all facility logs are submitted correctly and on time and filed appropriately.
  • Oversee Inventory Control Associates and regular inventory audits.
  • Ensure that all movements are properly tracked through the state seed-to-sale system and support with system errors.
  • Oversee the Fulfillment Department.
  • Oversee Facility Administrator.
  • Oversee Facility Custodian.
  • Accomplish all tasks appropriately assigned or requested
  • Fill in for other positions as needed

General

  • Regulations require that incumbent be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain marijuana work

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of progressive management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Cannabis experience preferred

Technological Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
