General Purpose of Job:
Assist and support the Clinical Student Manager or Manager of Clinical Student Success. Coordinate efficient and effective activities serving Nursing and/or Nursing Students. Support recruitment and retention strategies. Support administrative aspects of NDNQI.
Essential Duties:
This job description is intended to cover the minimum essential duties assigned on a regular basis. Caregivers may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned by their leader. Leadership has the right to alter or modify the duties of the position.
- Perform various word processing, typing, and proofreading duties including correspondence, forms, tables, charts, records, etc. often confidential in nature.
- Coordinate photocopying, filing, answering phones and performs other professional administrative assistant duties as needed.
- Gather and input NDNQI quarterly data
- Engage in a variety of contacts in and outside of the Health System, such as academic partners, in order to obtain or relay information/data
- Assisting in onboarding Nursing students and Nursing faculty
- Assist in coordination of special projects.
- Fill in as needed in other area

Education | * Associate degree in a related field and a minimum of 1 year of administrative assistant experience or administrative work in a healthcare or similar setting; OR High school diploma/GED and a minimum of 3 years of administrative assistant experience or administrative work in a healthcare or similar setting. |
Specialized Knowledge and Skills | * Proficiency in word-processing required (including spreadsheet, and database management). Specific software experience in Word, Power Point, Excel, and NDNQI. * Demonstrates ability to interact efficiently and effectively with others. * Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and judgement in relaying information, responding to requests, and prioritizing workloads. * Demonstrates ability to use a keyboard as may be required to perform the essential duties of the job. |
