Testing Specialist

Horizon Industries Limited (Horizon) is a dynamic IT and Management Consulting firm based in the Washington, DC area and we are currently seeking a Testing Specialist for a full-time position remotely supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).
Summary of requirements:
- 5 years relevant IT experience
- Active IT-II (NACLC)
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
Position Description:
We are looking for a Testing Specialist that will:
- Provide software testing experience (integration and acceptance)
- Analyzes internal security within systems.
- Reviews test results and evaluates for conformance to design
- RequiredSkills /Experience:
Five (5) years relevant experience - Experience in computer software development
- Must be capable of designing and executing IT software tests and evaluating results to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Must be able to prepare test scripts and all required test documentation.
- Must be able to design and prepare all needed test data.
- Must possess active IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC)
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority
- DoD Approved 8570/8140 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level I. (One of the following)
- A+ CE
- CCNA-Security
- CND
- Network+ CE
- SSCP
DLA CE Cert IA Role/Function: Software Tester. One of the following:
- A4Q Selenium (Foundation level 2014)
- ITIL V4 Foundation
- SAP CDA ABAP NW 7.40 (SAP Certified Development Associate- Advanced Business
- Application Programming (ABAP) with SAP NetWeaver 7.40

Salary Range:There are various factors that are considered in determining finalpayfor a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, education, certifications, and competencies that align with the specified role, as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:$125,000 - $135,000
Program Overview:
The JETS Program provides the full range of IT services, technical and management expertise that support applications, software, hardware, infrastructure, and systems, across the DLA IT Enterprise. Support is provided for information technology solutions, technical support, maintenance, and sustainment; operations support; application development, maintenance, and technical support; and lifecycle management. Additionally, the program also supports administrative program management support for IT program offices and DLA Information Operations (J6) Office. The program provides support technology services across the DLA Information Operations Enterprise, the DLA Program Executive Offices (PEO), and all other technology services currently supported through DLA Contracting Services Office (DCSO) acquisitions.
