POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for assisting with all aspects of golf-related activities resulting in an exceptional overall golf experience for guests.

Starting wage between $19.00/hr. - $20.88/hr. depending on experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • At least eighteen (18) years old.
  • Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Have experience handling cash.
  • A talented communicator having a calm and collective demeanor, especially during challenging operations.
  • Capacity to read, understand, and comply with documents such as guest policies and procedure manuals.
  • Able to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Offers of employment may be contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Follow all Company and Department Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • Attend training and safety meetings, as well as exhibit the application and retention of all material presented.
  • Demonstrate the ability and willingness to follow verbal and written instructions; as well as further develop professional skills, abilities, and knowledge.
  • Exhibit willingness to perform other duties as assigned or assist in efforts outside of department as needed.
  • Responsible for opening and closing, along with maintaining a clean and welcoming environment in the Golf Shop.
  • Daily operations include tournament operations, merchandising, answering phones, taking tee-time reservations, checking in golfers for daily play, and processing retail transactions.
  • Provides additional support to other areas of the course as needed.


WORKING CONDITIONS

Mental strain and fatigue may occasionally be caused by trying to resolve tenant issues, meeting deadlines, and balancing the wants and needs of the departmental staff. Handling emergency situations and working in adverse weather conditions may cause additional mental strain. Physical hazards include walking up and down steep stairways or driving on surfaces that may be wet/frozen and slippery, as well as exposure to fumes, odors, dusts, mists and gases. Physical strain may also be caused by lifting or movement of heavy objects, as well as repetitive fine motor activities.
