Job Description

The Materials Analyst Footwear role will provide support to the HQ based Footwear end to end functions of Materials Research and Development, Materials Sourcing and Materials Planning in the areas of Operational evolution, Process and Data excellence, helping drive Growth, Service and Efficiency through Materials Tools and Analytics.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • New Seasonal Materials Tracking, Adoption and KPIs for the Columbia Footwear Brand
  • Materials Toolkit maintenance and analytics
  • Materials Sourcing Landscape maintenance and data analysis
  • Gain an understanding of the Footwear Product Creation Processes. timeline and Manufacturing Landscape
  • Gain an understanding of how Materials Creation, Sourcing and Planning support On Time Delivery of Compelling Product to the Consumer
  • Performs other duties as assigned

YOU ARE

  • Understand the main Materials types critical to Footwear and Suppliers with the capabilities and capacity to supply those to CSC
  • Reporting to Footwear Materials Sourcing, this role will act as a support to the Footwear Materials Team, in running the business as well as driving critical Supply Chain Goals for which Materials are at the center.
  • Skilled in bringing compelling stories to life through data analysis
  • A keen interest in process improvement, calendar timelines/critical path.
  • Ability to work cross functionally to deliver timely results

YOU HAVE

  • Ideally Bachelors in Textile Science or related Science Subject or Materials/Product Design
  • Advanced analytical skills in Excel. Dashboarding/Power BI, Air Table, Miro, Power Point
  • 2-4 years experience in Footwear, Apparel or related materials/product
  • Experience in and a passion for Footwear or Apparel Materials or Product Development or Manufacturing
