Job Description

Role Summary: We are seeking a visionary Senior Director of Research - Commercialization and Pricing to spearhead our research team across pricing and commercialization. This role is pivotal in shaping our pricing strategy, enhancing commercial offerings, and driving growth within the Banking Solutions Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business unit teams to provide strategic insights to senior management regarding market trends and competitive dynamics.
  • Build and manage an in-house research function to continuously assess competitive pricing and market dynamics, ensuring our strategies are data-driven and effective.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to integrate competitive intelligence and customer insights into pricing and commercial decision-making processes.
  • Deliver strategic insights through win-loss analysis, competitor pricing benchmarking, and internal pricing evaluations to guide commercial strategies.
  • Drive initiatives to lead in pricing data analysis and application across business units, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and market needs.
  • Manage the research roadmap in collaboration with Sales and Product teams, prioritizing high-value initiatives.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees preferred.
  • Extensive experience in strategy, pricing, and research, preferably within the financial services technology industry.
  • Proven track record of interacting and collaborating with senior executives and leading high-impact strategic initiatives.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Exceptional analytical skills and a strong foundation in data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information and communicate it effectively to influence executive-level decisions.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience in managing cross-functional teams and projects.
  • Insightful, proactive, and adept at fast-paced, complex organizational dynamics.


FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $163,310.00 - $274,380.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
