Job Summary

Are you ready to craft the future of our organization while driving impactful change? Compass Group is seeking a dynamic individual to join us in the role of SVP of Human Resources. As a key member of the Executive Leadership team, you will drive interpersonal success, and cultivate a culture of development and growth. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing people strategies aligned with our business goals, overseeing top talent development and leadership planning, and maintaining compliance with employment laws and regulations. You will partner with sector leaders to design, create and implement effective people strategies to shape and establish strategic business plans and long-range goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, recommend, and lead key strategic talent initiatives, including leadership development, succession planning, and organizational design, to drive organizational success and culture.
  • Design and implement people strategies aligned with our desired business outcomes, ensuring the development of internal talent to fulfill key business goals and enhance team efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Chief People Officer on top talent and senior leader professional development, career pathing, and succession planning, encouraging a culture of internal sourcing and promotion.
  • Oversee the innovation, maintenance, and execution of People and Culture processes and systems, supporting performance management, talent review discussions, and workforce planning.
  • Work closely with Compass HR subject matter experts and other stakeholder functions to develop solutions to meet the company's needs
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to create innovative solutions for building a robust internal talent pipeline, retaining top talent, and fostering a culture committed to employee development and growth.
  • Partner with the DEI team to set the vision for programs and practices that strategically connect diversity, equity, and inclusion with talent management and development strategies.
  • Maintain knowledge of employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and managing the overall budget and financial considerations for the Talent & Development department.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with additional education viewed favorably.
  • 10+ years of business experience, including talent and development experience, preferably with a large-scale, decentralized structure.
  • Proven success driving a variety of people programs and processes, from inception to delivery, including annual performance reviews, internal mobility, and organizational design.
  • Strong discernment with the ability to translate business strategy into HR initiatives, providing valued consultation and influencing senior leadership as a trusted advisor.
  • High-energy leadership skills with a focus on building high-performance teams and establishing relationships at all levels throughout the organization.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills to effectively address all levels within the organization.
  • A high degree of personal integrity with exceptional attention to detail and organization skills, managing critical or confidential information with discretion
  • Knowledge of HCM software, Learning Management Systems, Talent Management Systems, and Applicant Tracking Systems preferred.
  • Flexibility to travel at least 25%
