Position: Scrum Master
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Salary Range: $87-97k
Clearance: Ability to obtain a DOE Q or L Clearance. US Citizenship is required for clearance (i.e., no dual citizenships).
KeyLogic is seeking a Scrum Master to support the IT program at a major national laboratory with the Department of Energy.
Currently, this position is hybrid in Albuquerque, NM. The selected candidate must be able to reliably commute or be open to relocating to the Albuquerque area. If offered the position, a government background investigation would be required for a security clearance. Since this position falls under the Department of Energy, the clearance does require exclusive US Citizenship (i.e., no dual citizenship).
This position requires onsite work, therefore candidate must reside in the Albuquerque area. Hybrid work available - 3 days onsite and 2 days remote after the initial training period.
- Facilitate agile teams, apply best practices of the agile methodology, and assign and delegate tasks appropriately to align priorities with the overall schedule and team member capabilities.
- Responsible for understanding the parameters of each sprint and will foster timely and accurate communication throughout the life of the project.
- Works closely with the product owner to translate epics, stories, and other items on the sprint list into actionable tasks for developers.
- Assist with problem resolution and work to maximize productivity and delivery to the customer.
- Bachelor's degree in related field and 2 years of scrum experience required
- In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an Associate's Degree in a related field and 5 additional years of related experience may be substituted OR 6 additional years of related experience for a total of 8 years' experience may be substituted.
- U.S. Citizenship is required per contract to obtain and maintain a U.S.Department of Energy Q security clearance.
- Certified Scrum Master
- Strong communication and teaming skills/experience
- Experience with software development projects and lifecycle

- Experience managing large complex software engineering teams.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
