Are you ready for a new career? We can help! Staffmark has a new opportunity just for you as an Inventory Cycle Counter in Houston, TX, to work Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM, and pays $16-$18 per hour (depending on experience).

The Inventory Cycle Counter will be responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory and performing cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified to be reflective of reported inventory. Duties include activities to maintain inventory accuracy through proper processing of material receipts, transfers, and issues.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Cycle count materials daily or as scheduled
  • Review on-hand inventory, current activity, and past activity
  • Ensure materials are in proper locations
  • Breakdown boxes and pallets as necessary
  • Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed
  • Wear the proper safety equipment at all times
  • Maintain neat, clean, and orderly warehouse appearance
  • Operate a standup forklift, reach truck, and other warehouse equipment

Qualifications: Bilingual in Spanish and English required to communicate effectively with warehouse personnel in both languages. Experience with inventory, moderate math and analytical skills, and good communication skills. Experience with product knowledge of flanges, fittings, and pipes. Excellent work ethic with the ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player. Computer skills, strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, self-starter, ability to work independently and with a team. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb, and move about the facility. Lift 50 pounds occasionally, work overtime as necessary including Saturdays, and experience operating a sit-down forklift, stand-up reach truck or picker preferred.
