Overview

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Human Resources in Greenwood Village, CO. This leadership role will drive strategic priorities into operational reality. This is an in-office role; relocation may be available.

Salary Range: $110,000-$140,000

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certification, etc.

A wide salary range is posted for this position and any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, and certifications as compared to others doing substantially similar work. While all offers are compliant with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, there is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.

Responsibilities

SCOPE

Provides guidance and direction on HR related matters to Practice Leadership to support business objectives while complying with company policies/procedures and all applicable laws. Works with Leadership to create, foster, and sustain a positive employee culture that maximizes patient care and profitability. Creates and executes a vision for HR services for Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

* Consults with Practice leadership to align human resources strategy with the Practice's business objectives through human capital business planning, organization development, organizational effectiveness, business development, and data analytics programs.

* Responsible for consulting services, collaborative resource utilization, relationship management, managing & solving conflicts, policy procedure application & interpretation and leads with influence.

* Champion the Practice culture to drive employee engagement and build high performing teams.

* Accountable for HR programs including employee engagement, reward & recognition, talent review process, performance management and succession planning. Provides understanding of shared values and goals.

* Manages employee relations administration of proactive and reactive matters to maintain a positive employee-employer relationship and providing a high-level of employee commitment.

* Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising leadership on needed actions.

* Engages in strategic consultation with Practice Leadership, enhances organizational reputation by adding input related to long- and short-range plans.

* Partner with Corporate Center of Excellence teams to provide input on and support initiatives that are implemented, ensuring a smooth transition for The US Oncology Network. Champions initiatives within the Practice and an active participant in the Community of Practice.

* Maintains ongoing communication regarding Practice initiatives and business priorities with Regional HR Director.

* Represents HR function on the Leadership team.

  • Maintain a level of expertise in human resources best practices and new laws and regulations, incorporating them into department operations, growth and development of employees.


Qualifications

Educaton/Experience:

  • 4-year degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience, advanced degree preferred.
  • Ten (10) years of experience in Human Resources with three (3) years' experience managing others.
  • Previous experience in healthcare arena strongly desired. Professional HR certification preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, written, verbal and interpersonal with an ability to tailor communication style to wide range of audiences.
  • Demonstrated success at cultivating strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and creating partnerships at all levels of the organization to achieve results.
  • Ability to set and balance short and long-term priorities and remain focused within a rigorous, fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Effective project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Solid ability to think strategically and problem solve through critical and conceptual thinking, analytical and planning skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Results-driven, change agent with the commitment and confidence to assume a leadership role in a complex environment.
  • Empathetic and engaging individual who listens well, is responsive, solutions-focused and results-oriented.

WORKING CONDITIONS

May include exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing, radiation, medical preparations, and other conditions common to an oncology/hematology clinic environment. Work entails a typical office environment and computer use the majority of the time. Work will involve in-person interaction with co-workers and management and/or clients. Work may require travel by automobile to office sites or extended travel to business functions.
