About the Position:

The FP&A Business Analyst II focuses on information generation and decision support for the most senior levels of the company, including Board of Directors. You'll partner closely with senior management across all functions of the organization to gather, assimilate, and effectively communicate key business strategies and insights. This extends beyond insights related to The Fresh Market, but also across our competitors, the industry, and economy. The FP&A Business Analyst II will help TFM executives and Board Members manage with a comprehensive set of facts and data to inform key decisions. This role reports directly to the Director of Corporate FP&A. (099)

What You'll Do:
  • Support the CEO, CFO, and Board of Directors through on-going preparation of relevant information related to The Fresh Market's company strategy, initiatives, financial performance, competitive environment, and industry landscape.
  • Conduct industry research and data analysis to assess competitor strategies and performance, industry trends, opportunities, and threats.
  • Attend key strategic meetings, and proactively identify gaps that you will be able to identify solutions for via research and data analysis.
  • Work closely with the CEO and CFO to develop compelling, informative materials for Board of Directors, investors, and other critical stakeholders.
  • Support the development of business strategies and action plans.
  • Prepare and deliver clear and concise reports and presentations to communicate findings to senior management.
  • Assist in evaluating and optimizing existing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and suggesting solutions.
  • Creation of Presentations, PowerPoints, Process flows, Gantt charts, etc.
  • Keeping track and monitoring KPIs/Goals and project status, ensuring complete accuracy of all data depicted in deliverables.
  • Maintains and updates standardized documents utilized in senior leadership discussions.
  • Primary TFM point of contact with Cencosud SA Investor Relations team.
Qualifications:

At a minimum, what you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, or similar field.
  • 7+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis.
  • Extremely strong teamwork and relationship building skills; extremely comfortable working with senior management.
  • Flexible and agile; comfortable working under extremely tight deadlines and/or under ambiguous conditions.
  • Superior communication skills - able to visualize complex themes in simple presentations or documents. Proficient in presentation software and BI tools.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
