Within Azure Data, the big data analytics team providesa range of products that enable data engineersanddata scientiststo extract intelligence from all data-structured, semi-structured, and unstructured. We build the Data Engineering, Data Science, and Data Integration pillars of Microsoft Fabric.Microsoft builds a world-class SQL engine with decades of innovation that is used in SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, and our cloud analytics scale-out SQL offering Azure Synapse offering data warehouses storing hundreds of terabytes of data. Building of these mission-critical systems require world class engineering systems that allow rapid development so innovation can reach the customers fast. It also requires reliable infrastructure and product features so that bits can reliably flow from development branches all the way to production with high quality. This role is for a team named "DW Swift" which is a full-stack team within the Synapse SQL DW. The immediate focus of the team will be to deliver next-gen SaaS Enterprise Data Warehouse. This involves making core changes in the product and the systems around it to be able to rapidly and predictably release the product and with high quality and agility. You will have the opportunity to define and implement next-generation product experiences and work on industry-leading, ground-breaking innovation in areas such as: delivering high value product features and experiences, high availability, next-gen deployment, engineering systems, quality focused product design etc. The work will span custom Synapse Analytics components as well as the SQL Server code base.
