Comagine Health is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to join the Business Development team!

Some of what you'll do:

  • In a professional, multidisciplinary environment, the senior development manager leads, mentors, manages, trains, coordinates and participates in business development activities to ensure objectives and deliverables are accomplished.
  • Typical duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supporting development directors to manage and maintain a strategic business development agenda and operational leads in pursuing new business opportunities.
  • This position manages the proposal development process, sales, and marketing support, and leads proposal development activities and internal development team initiatives as directed by development leaders.
  • This position can be state, federal or industry focused.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (equivalent combination of education and/or work experience in related field may be substituted).
  • 8 years' experience in a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years progressive leadership in managing a team.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field.

  • Exercises sound judgment and maintain objectivity.
  • Project management: developing project plans, managing/coordinating projects, communicating changes and progress, completing projects on time and budget.

Development Activities:

  • Leads development team initiatives related to process improvement, partnerships, CRM and in other areas as identified by development leaders
  • Leads exploration of specific partnerships, builds partnerships and collaborations to support opportunities
  • Mentors and trains peers on development processes, working closely with directors to implement improvements in processes
  • Facilitates and leads process improvement initiatives, meetings and discussions among other business development managers and staff
  • Assists Development Director(s) in managing and maintaining a strategic business development agenda and
    • Solicits feedback and input regarding business development topics and opportunities from staff
    • Conducts review and analysis of potential topics and opportunities, as needed
    • Provides status reports and updates to demonstrate alignment with organizational and Growth goals
  • Partners with operational leads in pursuing business opportunities
    • Evaluates and screens new business opportunities
    • Researches and analyzes products, services, markets, and customers
    • Participates in business planning and budgeting; manages established plans and budgets
    • Leads negotiation prep-work as needed
    • Leads concept and proposal development as needed
    • Leads proposal planning activities
    • Documents processes and assists external partners in understanding them
  • Manages proposal development process
    • Prospecting/environmental scanning for opportunities
    • Assessment and summarization of opportunities
    • Template/shell development
    • Coordinates with operations staff to develop content
    • Reviews and summarizes scientific literature
    • Proposal timeline development and management
    • Proposal team facilitation
    • Proposal writing and editing
    • Proposal review facilitation
    • Proposal production, packaging, and submission
    • Submits FOIA requests as needed
    • Internal tracking of proposal pipeline
    • Coordination with finance, compliance (COI), information services and human resources
    • Facilitates post-award activities, as needed
  • Provides sales and marketing support
  • Excels in the use of the business development CRM (Sprout) and promotes its value and understanding with internal stakeholders
  • Leads with conference exhibitor arrangements, booth support and outreach
  • Participates at conferences and interact with potential customers to represent company services
  • Identifies new product and/or service offerings
    • Develops sales and marketing collateral in conjunction with MarCom

Compensation Range: $70,000 - $98,000+

Geographical location is a part of the compensation consideration.
