The Choice+ Support Specialist role performs a variety of duties to support the Choice+ Team including but not limited to receiving & screening calls, and responding to employee and other inquiries, overseeing the mail process (incoming, distribution, and outgoing) for the team, inventorying and ordering office supplies and equipment, managing the payroll process, time and attendance, purchase orders and invoices, develops spreadsheets/databases, compiles reports & statistical data as well as data entry, oversees the employee ID badge process for the team, supports the Operations Support Specialist with the management of employee files and onboarding of new employees.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and other electronic applications, typing/computer knowledge/skills must be superior, must possess great communication/service skills, be analytical, be a self-starter/take initiative, and be able to adapt his/her pace to the needs of the department. Prefer someone that has worked in the acute care/inpatient healthcare setting with 3 - 5 years of experience.

REQUIRED

1. Associates degree or equivalent work experience in Healthcare related field.

2. Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize, exercise independent judgement and maintain confidentiality.

3. Demonstrated problem solving, organizational, technical, analytical, and decision making abilities.

4. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

5. Proficient in the use and application of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

6. Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize, exercise independent judgment and maintain confidentiality.

7. Ability to work effectively with others as a team, communicate effectively, and maintain courteous and professional demeanor and attitude at all times under stressful conditions.

PREFERRED

1. Prior Human Resources and/or Operations experience.

2. Prior project / system implementation experience. Prefer someone that has worked in the acute care/inpatient healthcare setting with 3 - 5 years of experience.
