Job Description

Triple S is a subsidiary of FloWorks International LLC, which is a privately held company located in Pasadena, Texas.


Summary of Responsibilities

The Service Manager leads both teams in the shop and in the field doing service / maintenance work to automated valve packages as well as manual valves. Helps maintain and manage product inventory levels. Repairs or coordinates repair of worn or defective products and equipment. Perform skilled, technical work in the design, installation, testing, calibration, maintenance, and repair for assigned products. Should have knowledge of electric and pneumatic actuators as well as manual, control, and relief valves.


Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

* Demonstrates ability to work in a team environment.

* Directly supervises, trains, and coordinates the activities of shop / service team

* Understands and communicates safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance in all areas of safety, while identifying the needs for team safety training with responsibility and accountability for the safety of the team under their direction.

* Translates general work requirements into a prioritized work plan for each team member.

* Provide training and development for team members.

* Inspects work site to determine process and method of valve repair / installation.

* Provides technical solutions and design implementations for products and services. Performs routine analysis, calculations, and recommends changes. Diagnoses and reports malfunctions.

* Builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs, and modifies equipment, parts, components, and assemblies.

* Learns and understands technical equipment; attends training and completes certification as required.

* Completes required documentation, forms, etc. for job at hand (i.e., JSA, Vehicle Inspections, Equipment Inspections, etc.)

* Accountable for the preparation of reports as required by branch and customers.

* Performs other duties, as assigned.


Qualifications

* HS Diploma or GED. preferred.

* 2 - 5 years of experience in area of responsibility.

* Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to apply effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

* Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing required.


Problem Complexity

* Refers complex, unusual problems to Operations Director.


Environmental Job Requirements

* Regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort from such things as dust, fumes or odors.

* Must continuously stand or walk or regularly requires lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment of moderate weight (50 pounds).

* Typically requires overnight travel up to 20% of the time.

* Must be able to be on call at times and work overtime when needed.
