Position Summary:

The Warehouse/Inventory/Shipping/Receiving Clerk is responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods within our facilities. This position requires precision and a keen eye for detail to maintain the integrity and accuracy of our inventory system.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and inspect incoming goods against invoices or orders, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Manage storage of products and supplies to optimize space and preserve accessibility.
Prepare items for shipment, ensuring they meet shipping standards and deadlines.
Maintain detailed records of inventory, shipments, and receipts to ensure accuracy in stock levels and order fulfillment.
Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts and hand trucks, safely and efficiently.
Comply with all safety standards and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
Participate in regular inventory audits to manage and reconcile physical inventories with system records.
Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, adhering to organizational standards and procedures.
Perform additional duties and support operational requirements as needed.

Requirements:

Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics role preferred but not required.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in logistics is a plus.
Skills: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; strong organizational and time management skills; ability to lift and move heavy items.
Attributes: Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and the capability to work independently and as part of a team.
Clearance: Must have or be able to get and maintain a Secret security clearance

Physical and Environmental Demands:

Frequent lifting of objects up to 50 pounds.
Standing, walking, bending, and reaching during the majority of the shift.
Working in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures and possible exposure to dust and noise.
