Job Description
The Associate Director, Perioperative Services has responsibility for the overall planning, organizing, direction and evaluation of patient care operations for designated area(s). The Associate Director is key in operationalizing the Medical Center's mission, values and goals and creates an environment that supports the nursing professional practice model. The Associate Director is responsible for managing, guiding, coaching, and evaluating the work performance of all staff in their designated areas. Ongoing collaboration with other patient care departments/areas that relate directly or indirectly to patient care operations, process improvement and patient quality is essential.
Minimum Education Required
Master's Level Degree
Required Qualifications
For Hire: Baccalaureate degree in nursing required. Masters degree in business operations, quality management or healthcare related field required. Current Ohio RN license required. Five to Seven years progressive Administrative/Management experience is required. Clinical experience in OR setting required Ambulatory OR Experience preferred. Prior demonstration of leadership and management skills required. Professional certification in Nursing Administration or clinical practice is desired with an expectation of attainment within 1 year of hire.
