Position Description

Reporting to the HR Supervisor at our Rockbridge facility, the HR Coordinator will provide support to the department and plant on a wide variety of HR administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and maintain employment files for both hourly and salaried employees which includes SAP and other electronic files.
  • Assist with maintenance of safety and other training records.
  • Conduct employment verifications and reference checks for potential candidates.
  • Maintain applicant tracking records.
  • Participate in the New Hire Orientatation process.
  • Assist employees with all insurance and benefit related questions and issues.
  • Prepare a variety of weekly and monthly reports at the direction of the HR Supervisor.
  • Prepare workers compensation forms and organize files.
  • Participate in related audits and hearings as needed.
  • Keep appropriate information confidential and manage with highest integrity.
  • High volume recruitment due to plant growth, recruiting hourly employees i.e., Maintenace, Assembly Technicians, and more.
  • Assist and organize employee activities and other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Qualifications
  • Associate's degree required.
  • 1+ years of experience working in an HR-related role.
  • Organization and excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with or the ability to learn Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or other tools required for the role i.e., SuccessFactors, Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Must be able to communicate well, be a good listener, and resource for our employees.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Flexible and adaptable; Continuous improvement mindset
