As Configuration Document Control Specialist you will support the Configuration Management Department in tracking appropriate end item configuration documentation to include, but not limited to, program contract deliverables, engineering documentation, serialization requirements, bill of material data entry, and configuration tools, reports and metrics.

Required Experience:
  • Strong organization skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Applies knowledge of external industry standards to internal processes and procedures
  • Experience developing and analyzing reports and metrics
  • History of working on Department of Defense (DoD) Contracts
  • Ability to read and understand Contract documents
  • Experience reviewing and processing contract deliverables against contract requirements
  • Experience processing engineering documentation and drawings and change control
  • Coordinates with other disciplines in support of configuration data management requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and coordinate task responsibilities
  • Experience using version control tools
  • Experience in MS Office suite of tools
  • Experience with:
    • AutoDesk Vault
    • Cost Point

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Desire, and excitement, for identifying and leading project improvements
  • History of developing and maintaining processes and procedures
  • Experience implementing CM principles throughout the lifecycle of a program
  • Experience supporting physical and functional configuration audits
  • Understanding of hardware development lifecycle
  • Familiarity with EIA-649 standards
