Job Description
Almac Group is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Sr. Distribution Technician for our Souderton, Pennsylvania location. The Sr. Distribution Technician is responsible for verifying and packing clinical site orders. Order processing is limited to the following types of shipments:
  • US/Canada/Puerto Rico
  • Ambient
  • Controlled room temperature
  • Cold Chain
  • JIT shipments
  • Controlled substance
2nd shift (3pm - 11pm) With a 10% shift differential
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Review documents for clarity, correctness, completeness and compliance
  • Perform verification checks of documents and clinical material prior to distribution from Almac Clinical Services
  • Pack customer orders based on customer specific protocols and their specific Distribution Instructions
  • Generate UPS and FedEx shipper address labels
  • Interact with Quality, Distribution and Logistics personnel to address quality issues
  • Possess a thorough understanding of departmental SOPs
Qualifications:
Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years' experience in a distribution or warehouse environment
Preferred:
  • Pharmaceutical Experience
  • Shipping Experience
  • Data Entry Experience
  • Working in a cGMP Environment
Additional Qualifications:
  • Ability to work in the cold room as required
