Due to our growth, Woolpert is seeking an experienced Jet-Vac Operator for our Atlanta, GA office.
The Jet-Vac Operator position includes cleaning of storm water and sanitary sewers, and occasional diving in sanitary manholes. The candidate is required to hold a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), and must be able to learn and adapt to Woolpert specific processes and procedures. This position may include occasional travel.

Experience

Previous Jet-Vac Operator Experience.
• Previous Experience driving Industrial Vehicles.

Position Requirements

• Must have valid CDL, and maintain a satisfactory driving record, as required by our insurance company.
• Must be willing to occasionally dive manholes.
• Must have general knowledge of sanitary sewer systems.
• Must have reliable source of transportation to jobsite.
• Must pass basic safety training.
• Must be willing to work outdoors, in all-weather.
• Answers questions from office engineering personnel about data collected in the field and collection methods.
• Set up, operate, and maintain field equipment.
• Responsible for following project quality control and quality assurance processes.
• Must successfully pass periodic drug testing as required by company policy.
• Must successfully pass a federal background check.
• Follows Woolpert safety procedures at all times.

Preferred Skills & Certifications

• NASSCO Certification
• Basic understanding of Mechanical aptitude.

Travel

• Occasional Travel < 20%

Education

• High school diploma or GED.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to frequently lift and move more than 100 pounds.
• Must be able to frequently stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
• Must be able to frequently reach with hands and arms and climb.
• Ability to climb down a ladder into manhole with safety gear to access work locations.
• Must have vision abilities of close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
