What's the Job?

The Supply Chain Customer Service Manager provides the leadership and technical abilities to develop and manage a team of supervisors, leads, and customer service representatives that perform at world class service levels - achieving service goals, safety targets, cost optimization, and quality requirements. As a member of the Order Fulfillment Team - they must understand and utilize all logistics systems and processes to effectively develop and deliver service programs to meet the complex needs of all distribution channels (2-step, 1-step, retail, contractor, lumber yard, and customer direct) and product lines, while achieving cost and service targets. They must focus on standardizing logistics processes and procedures between sales regions by ensuring a comprehensive documentation and training program is maintained at all levels of the supply chain.

  • Service leadership and problem resolution

What do you bring?

  • 4 year college degree preferred
  • Seven to ten years of progressive management experience with Strong coaching and leadership skills
  • Experience in running multiple shift service operations
  • Prior experience cultivating customer focused business culture
  • Adept at "win-win" conflict resolution
  • Experience in using SAP ERP system in the product fulfillment area is desired
  • Complete understanding of distribution channels
  • Flexibility in working hours 7am - 7:30 pm and occasional weekends within a hybrid work environment
  • Ability to travel up to 15%
  • Technical aptitude (Understanding of EDI and Esker a plus)
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Persuasive and able to bring about consensus
