Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sr. Supply Analyst to perform lead role in supply analyst team. The Sr. Supply Analyst will be the escalation point responsible for managing and optimizing various aspects of our supply chain processes with broader supply analyst team, focused primarily in Great Lakes and Ohio Valley supply markets. Your focus will be on ensuring efficient supplier and terminal setups, while also collaborating with internal stakeholders and suppliers to meet contractual obligations. Additionally, you will actively participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance our supply, sourcing, and related areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cross-train other supply team members on TABS.
  • Be first point of contact for other team members with questions.
  • Be a resource for supply and logistics related projects, as needed.
  • Assist WFS in standardizing the use of TABS across all regions.
  • Supply Flexibility: Improve processes to enhance supply flexibility, allowing carriers to lift from the most economically favorable supplier at all applicable terminals.
  • Proactive Supply and Market Management: Collaborate closely with the Supply Manager to proactively manage supply situations, identifying and mitigating potential issues and opportunities.
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Assist in troubleshooting loading and allocation issues as they arise.
  • Contract Compliance: Work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure that all contractual needs are met.
  • Execute Efficient Setups: Ensure timely and accurate supplier, loading number and terminal setups.
  • Drive Process Improvements: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements in Supply and Logistics as well as other domains.
  • Relationship Management: Develop relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and related parties.

Requirements, Competencies and Certifications

  • Focused individual who can translate what is happening in the market to executive of decisions for the supply portfolio.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain respect, credibility, and trust in both our suppliers and internal teams.
  • Strong time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
  • Driven team player who is focused on overall profitability facilitating optimization of our supply and logistics.

Minimum Education & Experience

  • Bachelor-degree required.
  • 6-8 years of experience working with commodities, specifically fuel, logistics and/or supply chain.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Experience in DTN TABS, DTN Fuel Buyer and Tableau is preferred.
