EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Full-Stack Ruby on Rails Developer in our Hughes Network Systems division. This position will be located at our office in American Fork, UT.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Write unit tests and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality.
• Work with GraphQL, JavaScript, SASS, html components, and slim templates to create responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
• Develop and implement new features and functionalities.
• Troubleshoot and debug existing applications to optimize performance.
• Work with Git, Jira, and Bitbucket for version control and project management.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems or related technical field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Full-Stack Ruby on Rails Developer.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, GraphQL, SASS, HTML components, and slim templates.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Git, Jira, and Bitbucket for version control and project management.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills.

Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.
