JOB SUMMARY |
Primary duties are to administer the site safety program in accordance with applicable federal, state, & local laws as well as company policy. This position will be responsible for areas across the state of Kansas: Topeka KS, Wichita KS, Emporia KS, Manhattan KS region and surrounding area.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS |
- Completion of a safety management degree.
|
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS |
- 1-3 years of safety training experience.
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
|
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Energetic and engaging verbal communication skills are required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with internal and external customers.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Must maintain highly confidential and sensitive information.
- The position consists of 30-50% travel. Some overnight travel is required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES |
Administer the site safety program in accordance with applicable federal, state, & local laws as well as company policy Perform routine audits on current projects. Maintain and submit documentation to facility owners. Represent the company at required safety committee meetings.
- Conduct new hire orientations
- Perform job site audits
- Attend required customer meetings
- Perform event investigations
- Work directly with management to complete event reports
- Track and report events to the company's insurance group
- Report events per customer requirements
- Administer the company's drug and alcohol program
- Develop site-specific safety plans and job hazard analyses for new projects
- Other safety-related duties as required

Salary is negotiable based on experience and education.
