Senior Financial Analyst

Our client, a fast growth company, is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team.

LOCATION:
Austin, TX. Hybrid capacity, 3 days in office.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Financial Analyst will provide analytical support to the business leaders across the company to increase data-based decision making and achieve the financial goals of the Company. You will accomplish this through financial and operational modeling and related insightful observations as well as core FP&A responsibilities such as forecasting, variance analysis, budgeting, and management reporting. This role requires heavy modeling skills in Excel and BI, and will need to create dashboards and know how to extrapolate large amounts of data.

This role will report to the VP of FP&A and work with the entire team to collaboratively build financial and analytical acumen across the company

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with internal partners to support them in achieving their OKRs (objectives and key results), being mindful of the associated impacts.
  • Support analytical projects and lead core FP&A responsibilities for specific areas of the business in which you will specialize, such as club labor, construction, maintenance, and/or Support Center expense.
  • Develop and/or update financial and operational models, processes, tools, and management reports, as needed, to support overall UFP financial management and OKRs.
  • Champion further use of data and PKI's/metrics in understanding the business and decision making.
  • Assist in comprehensive adoption of Adaptive, Power BI, and other newer technologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness in managing large datasets and presenting key findings.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses as needed for private equity owners and senior management.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in FP&A, consulting, or other quantitatively analytical role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Data Analytics, Finance, or related field.
  • Adaptive and Power BI experience a plus.
  • Experience in multi-unit operations, like gyms, retail, restaurants, etc. is a plus.
  • Ability to build collaborative cross-functional partnerships, across all levels of management.
  • Standout financial and operations modeling skills.
