ConsumerBase LLC d/b/a Exact Data, a subsidiary of Data Axle, Inc., is looking to fill a Market Researsch Analyst position in Bellevue, NE (may telecommute from anywhere in the U.S.)

Data Axle provides data, applications, and services that help organizations make and save money. Our commitment to accuracy, service and innovation drive customer acquisition, retention, and product enhancement. We are currently seeking a Market Research Analyst.

The Market Research Analyst is responsible for researching consumer and business market conditions, identifying data to support sales requirements, testing new data sources for completeness, useability and quality, and preparing data for inclusion in various marketing databases.

Essential Job Functions: *

  1. Researching consumer and business data needs to support marketing and sales activities.
  2. Researching new data sources to support marketing and sales needs.
  3. Analyzing and testing new data sources that improve the quantity and quality of data in company marketing databases.
  4. Researching competitor data offerings, pricing, and marketing activities to insure company competitiveness in the marketplace.
  5. Preparing new data sources for inclusion in company marketing databases.
  6. Supporting direct sales, digital display, and other sales activities by selecting appropriate data and delivering files to sales groups and products.
  7. Scheduling file deliveries, updates and replacements with data vendors.
  8. Documenting new data sources, layouts, testing procedures, and analysis summaries.
  9. Improving overall data quality and deliverability through validation and quality assurance processes.
  10. Working closely with various data, product, and sales groups to identify, test, and deliver new data elements and audiences.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  1. Excellent written and telephone communications skills.
  2. General understanding of marketing, sales, database structure, and relational theory.
  3. Demonstrated ability to complete multiple, complex technical projects with strict deadlines.

Education, Experience, and Certification:

  1. Bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent accepted) in marketing, econometrics, statistics, computer science or a related analytical degree.
  2. 2 years of experience in direct marketing, email marketing, or a related occupation.
  3. 2 years of experience with quality assurance processes and procedures and troubleshooting customer complaints.
  4. 2 years of experience and advanced knowledge of Excel and/or Visual Basic for Applications.
  5. Experience and knowledge SQL.
  6. Experience with social media analytics and data analytics.
  7. General understanding of marketing, sales, database structure, and relational theory.
  8. Demonstrated ability to complete multiple, complex technical projects with strict deadlines.
  9. Excellent written and telephone communications skills.
