Position Description:

Works to build awareness and understanding of all Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliated entities' services to community-based organizations (CBO's) to ensure partnerships are successful and aligned to company goals. Implements and drives all community partnerships in order to execute the GCNA vision of ending unemployment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Targets, prospects, develops, and manages long-term partner relationships with specific CBO's, through the use of a consultative sales process.
  • Secures an agreed upon number of weekly appointments with new and current CBO's residing in assigned community area portfolio and documents this activity per company standard.
  • In partnership with marketing and events teams, collaborates on promotional materials needed.
  • Has direct contact with individuals of all levels, both internal and external, to promote community partnerships.
  • Collaborates with internal departments focused on fulfilling all GCNA and Mission Services opportunities.
  • Attends and speaks at community and networking events to build awareness of Mission and GCNA services.
  • Responsive to customer's needs and follows through on all aspects of requests, both written and verbal, in a timely manner.
  • Monitors effective benchmarks for measuring the growth of the community; analyzes, reviews, and reports on effectiveness of new initiatives. Builds action plan for Mission Services alignment.
  • Coordinates events with CBO's to enhance market awareness and Mission Services objectives.
  • Maintains a comprehensive list of CBO's based on geographic needs of the community we serve, in an effort to establish effective partnerships for all GCNA services.
  • Works closely with other internal Mission Services teams to analyze job seekers demographics in order to strategically identify appropriate CBO's.
  • Acts as technical representative to the customer throughout the relationship.
  • Manages and coordinates community events, such as but not limited to community job fairs, school resource fairs, and veterans events to promote Mission and GCNA Services.
  • Serves as an ambassador for GCNA and Mission Services in the community.
  • Models Goodwill Core Values - Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, and Innovation.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience required
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, business acumen and an autonomous drive to follow through and execute business needs
  • Ability to produce documents written with clearly organized thoughts using proper sentence construction, punctuation, and grammar
  • B2B experience desired or outside sales, recruiting
  • Excellent internet navigation required
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel and Google Drive
  • Valid driver's license and clean MVR
  • Ability to pass a background check, fingerprint clearance, and drug screen, where applicable for position
  • Ability to speak and read English proficiently
