Job Description

Position Summary:

Rotex is seeking a Plant Manager with expertise in manufacturing and/or production to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. The Plant Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the plant to ensure efficiency and productivity. This role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, production line management, and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will manage all employees, streamline production processes, enforce safety regulations, and coordinate with other departments to achieve company goals. Your expertise in manufacturing and production will be instrumental in driving our plant's success.

Work You'll Do:

* Oversee daily operations of the plant, ensuring efficiency, productivity and on time delivery of a product that meets quality standards.

* Develop and implement operational policies and procedures aligned with Rotex/Hillenbrand to promote company culture and vision.

* Ensuring all key performance indicators are monitored and countermeasures developed on an as needed basis.

* Develop and manage plant budget and production goals.

* Ensure plant compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

* Partner effectively with other departments to achieve company goals.

* Develop and implement strategies to increase productivity and performance.

* Identify and resolve any issues or delays in production in a timely manner.

* Prepare and present standard and ad-hoc reports on plant performance and initiatives to stakeholders.

* Be a key driver of change, leading change management efforts through adversity when needed and supporting leadership decisions by communicating changes and helping employees learn, understand, adjust and grow with the company's HOM approach.

* Maintain and oversee adherence to corporate polices and processes, as well as adherence to governmental regulations and codes applicable to the conduct of plant operations.

* Other duties may be assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university; or a minimum of 6-8 years of related Operations and Manufacturing or Production in a managerial role.

Skills/Experience

* Strong understanding of industry standards and safety regulations.

* Excellent leadership and team management skills.

* Proficient in MS Office and industry-specific software.

* Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to read and interpret 3D drawing sets

* Ability to lead change in adverse situations through coaching and mentoring all while influencing organizations outside your scope of control in a positive manner.

* Ability to develop, plan, organize and manage multiple priorities.

* Microsoft platform and ERP experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a union facility preferred.
  • Solid Works or similar CAD skills preferred. #LI-SC1
